Glory announced today that their final card for 2013, Glory 13 will take place on 21st December at the Ariake Colosseum in Tokyo, Japan.
Dutch fighter Nieky Holzkien (82-11-0) will appear in the welterweight (170lb / 77kg) world championship tournament, a 4-man tournament, along with three other yet to be selected fighters.
It is likely that the winners of Karim Ghajji (92-8-1) vs Joseph Valtellini (9-1) and Alexander Stetsurenko (48-7) vs Karapet Karapetyan (41-8-2) at the upcoming Glory 11 event will make up two of the final three positions in the welterweight tournament.
So far no fights have been announced for this card, however there are rumours that both of Japan’s top 65-67kg fighters, Masaaki Noiri and Yuta Kubo will fighting on this card. Apparently Yuta Kubo (40-5)be facing Thai legend Saenchai PKSaechaimuaythaigym (265-48) in one of several Japan vs Thailand match-ups, while Masaaki Noiri (22-4) will face Mosab Amrani (50-8). Neither of these fights have been confirmed at this stage.
We wonder if Peter Aerts will be making an appearance on this card too?
