Krush 32 in Nagoya ended with an upset victory for Masaaki Noiri over Yuta Kubo in the Krush 67kg championship title fight.
Yuta Kubo came into the fight on a 17 fight win streak and had just defeated Masaaki Noiri a second time at Glory 8 Tokyo in May for the Glory 65kg Slam title.
At Krush 32, Noiri gained revenge for his previous losses to Kubo after the judges awarded him a unanimous decision, making Noiri the new Krush 67kg champion in the process.
Yuta Kubo and Masaaki Noiri are two of the best fighters in the 65 – 67kg weight range, so Kubo vs Noiri 4 is likely to happen sooner than later.
In the other headlining fight on the card, former K-1 Max champion Yoshihiro Sato (53-20) defeated Shintaro Matsukura by unanimous decision.
